Vague Militaire

Militarism is the new trend for this summer, voilà!. Designers were inspired in their last summer collections by the militars' dress code of the first and second world war. Pencil skirts, men shirts, trenchcoats, high boots, and militar print dresses; invade the runways of Balmain, Chloe, Marc Jacobs, and John Galliano; using colors such as: militar green, khaki, brown, and Cahmel. The silhouette this time can be wide or narrow. Big pockets, epaulets in the shoulders, metal buttons, belts on the waist, and patches; are some of the specific style elements this trend brings.
