TINA NEUMANN, Latest Collection, Spring - Summer 2012

These are some of the designs Tina created for being shown during the three days of fair in her stand. This time Tina was inspired by "gemstones". Digital prints have been used by Tina in every piece. Each print is designed by Tina, in fabrics like jersey, lace, and cotton.
Color explosion which is a very common element in Tina's clothes is still the principal trend for this designer who will present this collection in few weeks in Moscow.

LEITMOTIV'S EXHIBITION
Today was the openning night of Leitmotiv's exhibition. My dear friend and fashion designer Nathalia Ordoñez and I were invited to a lovely cocktail in Olga Piedrahita's boutique. People from the fashion business like editors, bloggers, fashion designers, and some others; went to the event; which I really got surprised!!. The boutique's decor was amazing... I loved it!! All the walls and the floor had messages written in spanish. cookies and biscuits were located in every corner, all of them made part of the decor too. There was also a whole wall covered of chacolate, and big cakes over a bed... averything was wonderful, the clothes looked gorgeous between all those things!!. I could realized that not all the clothes I saw in Colombiamoda' show, is exhibited there; only specific pieces of the collection for men & women can be bought.
On the second floor, you can also find Olga Piedrahita's latest collection, which I really love. The last three pictures you can see in this post are accessories from her.I want to thank Olga Piedrahita and her daughter Danielle Lafaurie for this night, I really aprecciate all the support they have been giving to different designers, specially the youngest.

AROUND GLASSES BY NATALIA CRIADO. Bogotá
JDP: Tell us about AROUND.
NC: This is a project I've been working with my brother two years ago. I made a trip to Japan and there I knew a particular type of glasses made of wood, so; we started bringing all those kind of glasses for being sold in Colombia. We got excellent results!. After that I made another trip to Asia and there I met the people who fabric these glasses. Now I make my own desings and they produce the glasses. They are designed in Colombia and done in Asia.
JDP: What kind of people do you think will wear these glasses?
NC: These glasses are for men & women, and they are perfect for young, fresh, and stylish people. We try to keep prices low, so; young people could buy our product in a good price. Buying glasses in Colombia is very expensive.
JDP: Which materials did you use for the glasses frames?
NC: We used textured ethyl, thin wood slats, and color layers.
JDP: Did you have any inspiration?
NC: Well... This collection rescues a vintage mood. We do not have and specific inspiration, but basically I´ve tried to keep a vintage flavor in each design.
JDP: Where can we buy them?
NC: You can buy them in Elemmental Store, Brinca Brinca, Cuatro Loros, Faride Ramos, La Peluquería, La Anteojería, Duplicity, and JUAN Store; all those places in Bogota.
JDP:Have you think about openning a shop where we can find only accessories from AROUND and LITTLE LUCIA?
NC: Of course, it's a project we have been working in. Now we are studying the shoppers reaction with these type of elements. If we get good results, probably we'll open a store very soon.
