Roberto Cavalli was invited to present his Fall - Winter 2011 collection during Cali Exposhow as one of the international guests designers. The Show was divided in two parts, the first one was a lovely presentation of the most important dresses Roberto Cavalli has designed during his whole career, it was something like an historical evolution. The second part the italian designer presented his latest creation for fall - winter season, where animal prints in loose silhouettes take place in almost every piece of the collection. This time the designer avoid tight clothes which is very usual in his designs, and bet for a fresh, relaxed, and flowing look. However the ornate and ostentatious characteristic from Roberto Cavalli was seen in jackets and coats some of them with natural furs. Bohemian touches were also very strong in accessories like belts, bags, shoes, and necklaces.
During the press conference after the show, the italian designer replies he was going to spend fifteen days in Colombia looking for some inspiration for his next spring - summer collection. The designer also announced the opening of his first boutique in Colombia for next year. Tomorrow there will be a showroom sale at the Intercontinental Hotel of some of the pieces from his latest collection
