Three studens from (IED) Instituto Europeo de Diseño presented their collections for fall - winter 2012. Paola Gutierrez presented pieces with a fifties mood, tight waists silhouettes in strong materials like leather, polyester, and plastic; Some pieces made me think this collection has a little bit of futuristic air. I love laser cuts on some pieces specially pants. Cristina Vila by other hand presented a more romantic collection, this one had a lot of transparencies and hand made work. Happy colors like mint green, yellow, and nude in straight silouettes most of them on short dresses; perfect for young, romantic, and sophisticated women. Alejandra Anglada was my favorite she mixed different kind of trends, geometric, transparencies, and prints. Loose silhouettes in shirts, dresses and sweaters made a perfect match with tight pieces like leggings and skinny pants. Different kind of gray, wine, brown, and a kind of neon orange; were the colors chosen by this young designer. I loved the deer sunglasses and the sweaters, geometric structures at the shoulder high were magnificent.
