This is the first time Kika Vargas has a show on a colombian fashion week and let me tell you she started with the right foot! To be honest I was really impressed with every piece she designed and made, some of them look like couture pieces. The mix of prints on the pants were absolutly beautiful, another think I really liked was the mix of textures on the same piece, she used different kind of fabrics getting excellent results. heavy fabrics like fur, leather, and jacquards; were used by the designer in almost every jacket. However there were lots of loose fabrics like nutural silk, chantung, and cotton; they were used for dresses, shirts, and pants. The amazing styling was in charged by Catalina Zuluaga who have also worked for colombian designers such as Leal Daccarett and Esteban Cortazar, and international ones like Balmain and Nina Ricci.
